Von Schubert & Muller Catoir for starters, though there are many… Those are 2 whose rieslings are exquisitely crafted.

I grew up in Oregon so I’m partial to pac nw rieslings — not necessarily fancy, but tend to be a great value and you don’t feel like you have to save them for something special.

No doubt, Beth. Good stuff out there. Check out Randall Grahm’s Northwest operation, Pacific Rim, if you haven’t already…

Maybe I’m just a cheap date, but I love me some Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling. At $6.50 a bottle here in Seattle it cheap, but tastes great. A really nice wine for hot summer days…very refreshing!

Thats the ticket, Joe. Looks like its the Pacific NW fans who are rallying!
Must agree that them are some tasty wines. Check out the Eroica, the Riesling made from the partnership between Chateau St Michelle and the famous Mosel producer, Dr Loosen. And right around 10 bucks, not too shabby

Some of my favorite Riesling producers:
JJ Prum (Mosel), Selbach-Oster (Mosel), Gunderloch (Rheinhessen), Meulenhof (Mosel), Johannes Hirsch (Kamptal, Austria), FX Pichler (Wachau, Austria)
